We finally made it to White Sands National Park!

Hello, fellow travelers! We have been using this summer to explore as many city, state, and national parks as possible! One of our favorites so far has been White Sands National Park! If you haven't heard too much about it, it's because it got promoted to a national park in 2019. Before that it was a national monument.

Located near the town of Alamogordo, New Mexico, it is a gorgeous desert oasis with sparkling white sand dunes, greenery, tons of animals, and countless spots to get that perfect desert photo for your holiday card.

We spent the morning sledding, hiking, and searching for cute desert animals like this one:

Isn't it amazing how this little creature was able to blend right into the sand? Nature is so awesome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and cannot wait to go back when the temperatures are a little cooler.
